what is city council?
The Woodway City Council operates under a non-partisan Council/Manager form of government. The council is composed of Mayor Qourzal and six Council members, all serving three-year terms. The Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem are elected annually by the Council members. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
Thank you for all your support during my 12 years of service to Woodway. It’s been an absolute privilege serving you and our city. I remember starting my community service on the Parks and Recreation Board, improving our beautiful parks, and attending community events with my family. These experiences shaped my love for our city and my commitment to its future. As your mayor, I am dedicated to preserving and enhancing the qualities that make Woodway special. As I head into my final term in office, I would be honored to have your vote on May 3rd, 2025!
